Hostel Pekarna

Accessibility statement

Accessibility statement according to the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act (ZDSMA)

Declaration last updated in April 2023 on the basis of a self-assessment.

The Maribor Youth Cultural Centre (Javni zavod Mladinski kulturni center Maribor MKC Maribor) undertakes to make the Pekarna Hostel website available on hostelpekarna.eu in accordance with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act (Official Journal of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 30/18, 95/21 - ZinfV-A, 189/21 - ZDU-1M, 18/23-ZDU-1O) and Directive 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
This accessibility statement refers to the website hostelpekarna.eu.

Compliance level

We continuously monitor the accessibility of the website and improve individual accessibility features on an ongoing basis. We strive to make the website as accessible as possible. However, some of the content published does not meet all accessibility requirements as set out in the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act.

Note on inaccessible content

The content listed below is not accessible due to disproportionate burden:

  • Content added by third parties through the "event registration" interface and treated as an exception by the law in Article 3.
  • Not all photos on the websites have descriptions or alternative text yet. It would be a disproportionate burden to retrospectively enter an alternative description, as most of the posts relate to current events that have already passed and would not be of proportionate use to the user. More recent items have an alternative description entered
  • The structure of tables and headings is not always optimal. This is due to the disproportionate burden that the Authority assesses with the human and financial burden that optimised ones would require.
  • Files uploaded to the website in .pdf format to avoid altering the content. This is due to the disproportionate burden that the Authority assesses with the human and financial burden that optimisation would require.
PREPARING AN ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

The method used was that referred to in Article 3(1), first indent, point (a) of Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523 - self-assessment of a public sector body.
